Use And Installation Of Sanitary Centrifugal Pumps
Sanitary Centrifugal Pump is mainly used to transport lubricating oil in the lubrication system of various mechanical equipment. It is suitable for transporting lubricating oil with a viscosity of 5×10-6~1.5×10-3m2/s (5-1500cSt) and a temperature below 200℃. Sanitary centrifugal pumps can transport non-lubricating oils, beverages, and corrosive liquids. Equipped with copper gears, it can transport low-point liquids such as gasoline and benzene. In addition to ordinary motors, this series of pumps can also be equipped with explosion-proof motors of the same specifications according to user needs.
Before starting a sanitary centrifugal pump, the valves in the suction and discharge pipelines should be fully opened. It is strictly forbidden to start with the valves closed. Check the sealing of all pipeline flanges and joints. The conveying liquid should be injected into the pump for the first start. Turn the coupling without friction or collision sound. After verifying the direction of motor rotation, start the motor.
A sanitary centrifugal pump is a rotary pump that relies on the change and movement of the working volume formed between the pump cylinder and the meshing gear to transport liquid or pressurize it. The structure of an externally meshed double gear pump. A pair of meshing gears and a pump cylinder separate the suction chamber from the discharge chamber. When the gears rotate, the volume between the teeth at the point where the gear teeth on the suction chamber side disengage from each other gradually increases, the pressure decreases, and the liquid enters the teeth under the action of the pressure difference. As the gears rotate, the liquid between the teeth is brought to the discharge chamber. At this time, the volume between the teeth at the point where the gear teeth on the discharge chamber side mesh gradually decreases, and the liquid is discharged. Gear pumps are suitable for conveying lubricating liquids that do not contain solid particles, are non-corrosive, and have a wide viscosity range. The flow rate of the pump can reach 300 m3/h, and the pressure can reach 3×107 Pa. It is usually used as a hydraulic pump and for conveying various types of oil products. The gear pump has a simple and compact structure, is easy to manufacture, easy to maintain, and has self-priming ability, but the flow rate and pressure pulsation are large and the noise is loud. The gear pump must be equipped with a safety valve to prevent the pump or prime mover from being damaged due to some reason such as blockage of the discharge pipe, which causes the pump outlet pressure to exceed the allowable value.
Compared with involute gears, the most prominent advantage of sanitary centrifugal pumps is that there is no relative sliding of the tooth profile during the gear meshing process, so there is no wear on the tooth surface, stable operation, no liquid phenomenon, low noise, long life and high efficiency. This pump breaks free from the constraints of traditional design, making gear pumps enter a new field in design, production and use.
